PERMANAENT SCHOLARSHIP ESTABLISHED FOR JANCIE HOPWOOD

The CSF of BGM (a Dollars for Scholars Chapter) received a contribution of $2500.00 from Mabel Coats to establish a permanent scholarship in honor of Janice Hopwood.

Mabel wanted to show her appreciation for all the good deeds that Janice had done for her over the years and for all the community work that Janice has contributed to.   Mabel felt that by establishing a scholarship for Janice that the honor would be there now and in the future and felt that this would be a nice way to show her appreciation for Janice’s help over the years.

The foundation is grateful to Mabel for her consideration and contribution to the scholarship foundation.  We would like to congratulate Janice and agree with Mabel that Janice deserves this honor in her name.  Education is a gift for a lifetime and by supporting the foundation in this manner will help to encourage all our graduates to continue onto a higher education.

All contributions help in making the Foundation grow.  The foundation is a community project everyone in the BGM school district can be proud of.

Anyone wishing to make a contribution, or add to an existing scholarship or memorial within the Foundation, please contact Dennis Smith, Board of Trustee representative for the Ministrial Association, or any other board member.  You can also write to Box 469, Brooklyn, IA  52211.
