MEMORIAL FUND STARTED FOR GERALD KRIEGEL

The Citizens Scholarship Foundation of BGM (a Dollars for Scholars Chapter) received a $500.00 check to establish a memorial fund for Gerald Kriegel.

Kathleen and her children, John Kriegel, Bev Rubner, Ron Kriegel, Patty Hall, and Chris Heidt had felt that they would like to give something back to the community after Gerald had passed away. They had received so much from everyone that the children wanted to honor their dad’s name by giving a memorial to the scholarship fund. Patty made the comment that Gerald’s children, grandchildren and now great-grandchildren have went to school at BGM which is why they felt if they could help others to continue onto a higher education it would be worth it.

The Foundation is grateful to the family of Gerald Kriegel for their contribution to the scholarship foundation. Education is a gift for a lifetime and by supporting the foundation in this manner will help to encourage all our graduates to continue onto a higher education.
