BROOKLYN MUTUAL TELEPHONE DONATES TO PRESCHOOL FUND

The CSF of BGM (a Dollars for Scholars Chapter) received a donation from the Brooklyn Mutual Telephone Company for $1,250.00. This is the third payment on their three-year pledge to help the preschool program.

After a tuition increase in 2001 for preschool, there was concern that an endowment fund needed to be established to help with the rising tuition costs. Over the last three years CSF has been working toward the goal of a $100,000 endowment fund and at this time has over $71,000 towards that goal. The fall of 2004 is when the fund needs to be established so everyone can receive a scholarship to attend preschool. The last of the grant money from McElroy has been received which has been used to award the scholarships.

CSF of BGM is grateful to the Brooklyn Mutual Telephone Company for their commitment in helping with the preschool fund.
