BGM SCHOOL JANITORS CONTRIBUTE TO CSF

The Citizens Scholarship Foundation of BGM (a Dollars for Scholars Chapter) received a check for $1000.00 from Marvin Goodrich, Dave Collum, and Roy Williams, who are the janitors within our school system.

The janitors have been collecting pop cans and bottles with a collection box in the cafeteria and they have also been collecting them from trash cans and around the school grounds.  Marvin Goodrich has been donating his cans from home to help build up the donation.  The janitors would like to contribute enough money some day to establish a permanent scholarship fund.

The Foundation is happy to receive your donations anyway you wish to give them and are grateful to Marvin, Dave, and Roy for keeping our school clean and for their generous contribution to the Foundation.  All donations however big or small help to create a larger interest amount to be given out to our seniors each May.  Any senior who applies for a scholarship with the CSF of BGM will receive one or more.  So as you can see, the sooner your donations are received, the more interest we can earn to be given away.

With the cost of education continuing to rise, any support our seniors can receive from the Foundation is helpful to them in fulfilling their dreams.  Through your contributions and help there is hope for each of our students.  Your gift is making a difference in the future of our graduates.

Anyone or organization wishing to make a contribution to the Foundation please contact Neil VanErsvelde , Member at Large for the Board of Trustees, or any other board member.  You can also write to Box 469, Brooklyn, IA  52211.
