RECORD NUMBER OF SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS RECEIVED

When the awards committee chairperson, Dorothea Hicks, picked up scholarship applications from the BGM High School, she was pleasantly surprised. Out of 53 possible applicants, 50 BGM seniors applied for scholarships. That number is a record percentage since CSF of BGM started handing out scholarships in 1990. The CSF Board’s spring meeting to determine the awards dollar amount will be held in a couple of weeks. Awards night will be held Wednesday, May 12, 2004 at 7:00 pm in the elementary gym.

The Foundation wishes to thank all contributors for their continued support over the years. The Foundation believes in education and only through your support can it reach its goals. If you have not yet made a contribution to the Foundation, now might be an excellent time to do so.
