SCHOLARSHIP
APPLICATIONS HANDED OUT
On March 1, 2006 the Citizens
Scholarship Foundation of BGM (a Dollars for Scholars Chapter) handed out
scholarship applications to those seniors wishing to apply for a
scholarship. If you or your student
have not received your application, please contact Neil VanErsvelde at the high
school or go online to www.csfofbgm.com
to get an application. The application
must be filled out and returned on or before March 31, 2006. Signatures are required of both students and
parents for the application to be considered complete.
The application must be returned to
the Foundation or Neil VanErsvelde at the High School building on or before the
deadline of March 31, 2006. The Award
Committee, chaired by Dorothea Hicks, will meet soon after the application
deadline to score the scholarship applications. If anyone is interested in assisting with the scoring of the
applications, please contact Dorothea (319/685-6482). Please remember, if you have any relation or close friends
graduating in May 2006, you cannot serve on the Awards Committee this year.
Awards Night will be held on May 17,
2006 at the BGM Elementary School gym.
This is your chance once again to show your support for the graduating
seniors by attending Awards Night. YOU
have made a difference with your contributions and support so please come and
attend Awards Night and be a part of the ceremony.
