FUND ESTABLISHED FOR KEITH DAVIDSON

The Citizens Scholarship Foundation of BGM (a Dollars for Scholars Chapter) received a check for $500 to help establish a scholarship fund in memory of Keith Davidson (Class of 61) by his wife Diane (Class of 62) and their 3 children Chris (Class of 88), Brian (Class of 91) and Lisa (Class of 98).

Diane Davidson felt that by establishing a fund within the foundation would be an excellent way to continue the memory of Keith and Diane’s goal is to establish a permanent scholarship someday.  Keith’s passion was for farming and was in partnership with his brother Jim Davidson.  Keith always had a big interest in children and their education and Diane just wanted to help other kids to continue onto further education.  She would like the scholarship in Keith’s memory to be given to a student who wishes to continue in an agricultural related field.

The Foundation is grateful to Diane and her children Chris and LaFonda from Pella IA, Brian from Washington IA, and Lisa Davidson a junior at NW Missouri State in Maryville, MO for making this donation to the CSF of BGM.  Memorial scholarships are an excellent way for families to honor a loved one while at the same time to help a graduating senior continue their education.

Through your contributions and help there is hope for our students.  You can help in making a difference for our students in the years to come.

Anyone wishing to make a contribution to the Foundation or add to an existing memorial, please contact Ruth Wagner, Board of Trustee representative for the Kiwanis, or any other board member.  You can also write to Box 469, Brooklyn, IA  52211.
