MANATTS INC MUNCHERS CONTINUE TO SUPPORT CSF OF BGM

The Citizens Scholarship Foundation of BGM (a Dollars for Scholar Chapter) received a check for $400.00 from the Manatts Inc Munchies Fund.

The munchies are snack products available for Manatts Inc employees to purchase during the work hours.  For nine years the proceeds from the munchies have been distributed to After Prom Party, other school and community related activities, as well as contributing a scholarship to the Citizens Scholarship Foundation of BGM.  Deb White coordinates the munchies at Manatts Inc.

The CSF of BGM is nationally known for its help to our students.  Scholarships are only the starting point in supporting our students.  The Foundation must continue to grow to be able to help our students not only get to higher education, but to also keep them there until graduation.  The Foundation is a great tool for all of us to help our students and our communities.

The Foundation would like to thank the munchers at Manatts Inc for their continued support of the Foundation, and Deb White for all her work.

The Foundation needs everyone to contribute, not only those who have in the past, but also each year the Foundation needs additional new people to help support our students.  Remember the Foundation does not spend your money but rather invests it for the future.  Just the interest earned each year is awarded each May as scholarships.  The sooner you make your contribution, the larger the interest will grow for the scholarships.  This is the reason the Manatts Munchies contribute early each year.

Anyone or organization wishing to make a donation to the Foundation please contact, Rich Carmichael, Board of Trustee representative for the Brooklyn Ruritan, or any other board member.  You can also write to Box 469, Brooklyn, IA 52211.
