CSF OF BGM TO HOLD ANNUAL ORGANIZATION MEETING

The Citizens Scholarship Foundation of BGM, a Dollars for Scholars Chapter, will be holding their annual organization meeting on September 26, 2000, 7:00 p.m. at the Manatt’s office building.

At this meeting they will hold an election of officers, with last years officers being: President – J. C. Miller, Vice President – Lyle Oswood, Secretary – Neil VanErsvelde, and Treasurer – Jan Read. An appointment of the chairpersons along with a report from each chairperson will be given. Other items on the agenda include, the treasurer’s annual report for 1999 – 2000, an investment committee update, approval of the CD’s which were purchased from Poweshiek Co Savings Bank and First Federal Bank which come due June 30, 2001. The 2000 – 2001 schedule of events are being planned for discussion along with the 2000 – 2001 budget being set.

Updates on the Iowa Dollars for Scholars office, National Conference to be held October 12 to October 15, and an update on the Iowa Conference being worked on at Cedar Rapids this fall are also on this years agenda.

The CSF of BGM would like to mention that this meeting is open to the public and anyone wishing to come is welcome.
