JULIE CLINE CONTRIBUTES THROUGH SCHOLAR POLICY TO DOLLARS FOR SCHOLARS

The Citizens Scholarship Foundation of BGM (a Dollars for Scholars Chapter) received notice that a local community member, Julie Cline, has purchased an Employers Modern Life Scholar Policy that names CSF of BGM as the benefactor.

By purchasing the policy, this ensures money will go toward local scholarships in years to come.  “We’re very pleased to have the recognition and support of our scholarship program from citizens such as Julie,” said JC Miller, chapter president.  “We hope others in the community will follow this example and contribute in such a meaningful way to encourage pursuit of higher education for our high school seniors.”

Dollars for Scholars is a national network of over 860 grassroots scholarship foundations in 38 states and the District of Columbia that raise funds and provide financial and academic support to local students seeking post-secondary education. There are currently 80 community Dollars for Scholars chapters in Iowa.  More information about The Scholar Policy is available by calling JC Miller at (641) 522-9206 or a local independent insurance agent who represents EMC Insurance Companies, which Poweshiek Insurance Realty in Brooklyn is a representative.

Employers Modern Life Company is the life insurance affiliate of EMC.  The largest insurer of schools in Iowa, EMC Insurance Companies is a multi-regional property and casualty company.  It provides a full range of insurance products and services to businesses, individuals and organizations through independent insurance agents and its network of 18 branch offices.

Purchasing an Employers Modern Life Scholar Policy is just one of the many other ways an individual can contribute to the scholarship foundation.  Anyone wishing to make a contribution to the Foundation, you can contact Julie Cline, Board of Trustee representative for the City of Malcom, or any other board member.  You can also write to Box 469, Brooklyn, IA  52211.
