CSF OF BGM ANNUAL ORGANIZATION MEETING

 

 

            The Citizens Scholarship Foundation of BGM, a Dollars for Scholars Chapter, held their annual organization meeting Thursday, October 11, 2001 at the Manatt’s office building.

 

            The meeting was called to order by President J.C. Miller and those present were: J.C. Miller, Neal Van Ersvelde, Dorothea Hicks, Virginia Ricketts, Marcia Braley, Marie Roudabush, Lyle Oswood, Rick Radcliffe, Dale Douglas, Doug King, Brenda Strong, Dennis Smith, Michelle Steffen & Becky Edelen.

 

            All officers agreed to fill their current positions again this year with President – J.C. Miller, Vice-President – Lyle Oswood, Secretary – Julie Cline, and Treasurer – Becky Edelen.

 

            The treasurer’s report was given for the 2000 – 2001 year, the audit was completed with success and no changes were made to the books.  The purchase of CD’s at Poweshiek Co Savings Bank and the First Federal Savings Bank were approved.

 

            The Iowa Conference will be held in Des Moines this year, November 10, 2001.   

 

            The schedule of events was set with Stuffing Night set for November 6 at 6:00 pm, Application Handout date March 1 at 9:00 am in the H.S. Library, Application Deadline date March 27, Awards Night date is May 15 at 7:00.

 

            Please remember that the earlier your contribution is received, more interest can be generated, making more money available for scholarships.
