CLASS OF 1951 MAKES DONATION TO CSF
The Citizens Scholarship Foundation of BGM (a Dollars for Scholars Chapter) received a check in the amount of $2,500.00 from the Class of 1951, which will establish a permanent scholarship in their name.
At the 50th Class reunion Dan McConnell had brought up the idea about making a donation to the Foundation in the Class name. Information was sent out to the class members with several responding back with a donation. Dan made the comment that the Class is proud to be a part of the Foundation.
The Class of 1951 contributors to the scholarship fund were: Dan Billick, Beulah (Paul) Brown, Marlene (Wheeler) Carter, David Creps, Barbara (Pecher) Fisher, Dona (Carter) Frank, Frances (Cornelis) Grismore, Donna (Roudabush) Hepner, Lavern Lidtka, Lester Mc Clenathan, Dan Mc Connell, Terry Mc George, Max Mc Ilrath, John McMullin, Mervin Morgan, Nancy (Richman) Nichols, Ronald Nieman, Mary Ann (Collum) Plants, Barbara (Peterson) Smith, and Barbara (Brimmer) Sumner. Those who were in the class but not at Brooklyn at graduation time who contributed were: Don Irving, Beverly (Hamlet) Edlen, and Bruce Brush.
The Foundation is grateful to the Class of 1951 for their generous contribution. This memorial will always be a part of the Foundation and will help to encourage all graduates to continue their education.
