KIWANIS CLUB DONATES TO PRESCHOOL FUND

The Citizens Scholarship Foundation of BGM (a Dollars for Scholars Chapter) received a check from the Kiwanis Club of Brooklyn designated for the preschool fund.

The goal of the Kiwanis Club is Priority One, which is helping the young kids. After a meeting in which J C Miller had given a talk about the preschool program, the Kiwanis voted to give the preschool a donation. J C had mentioned of the need for additional funds to be given to the preschool program to help offset the higher enrollment numbers attending preschool. With young kids being the Kiwanis priority they felt this was an excellent opportunity to promote and to help support a preschool program within the BGM School district.

The Foundation is grateful to the Kiwanis Club of Brooklyn for their continued support over the years. To accomplish the foundation’s goal of reaching the $100,000 over the next three years will take everyone’s assistance within the community.

Contributions may be added to the Preschool fund or any other Citizens Scholarship Foundation of BGM funds. Anyone wishing to make a contribution to the foundation can contact Ruth Wagner, Board of Trustee representative for the Kiwanis Club, or any other board member.
