TTT-IOWA EY CONTINUES THEIR SHARED SCHOLARSHIP WITH CSF OF BGM

 

           

            The Citizens Scholarship Foundation of BGM has received a check for $250.00 from the TTT club.

           

            The TTT’s have participated with the CSF of BGM since 1989 in which the Foundation adds additional money to the TTT’s donation making it a shared scholarship. In 1996 the TTT club reached the permanent scholarship level, however they have continued to build on that level.

 

            The officers for the TTT club are:  President – Diane Kilmer, Vice-President – Peggy Roudabush, Treasurer – Amy Holland, Recording Sec. – Andrea Cook, Corresponding Sec. – Becky Edelen, Historian & Publicity – Sharon Ford, and Parliamentarian – Marlene Baustian. 

 

            The TTT’s meet on the first Thursday of each month, meeting in different members homes each time.  The main objective of the TTT Club is to sponsor 2 girls for the TTT Camp each summer in Camp Wyoming, Wyoming, IA.  Throughout the year the TTT’s participate in activities and sponsor various fundraisers.  Some of the activities include reading groups for children during the summer, donating food baskets for the needy, Easter egg hunt, housewalk, and they will be helping the Ruitians this summer with a food stand at the Brooklyn Raceway.  Their biggest fundraiser is the sale of nuts, dried fruit and jellybeans.

 

            The Foundation is grateful to the TTT Club and all their members for their continued support over the years.  By supporting TTT you are also supporting our community.  Their strong community spirit is shown through their support of the many different community activities.
