SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS PASSED OUT

On March 2, 1998 the Citizens Scholarship Foundation of BGM ( a Dollars for Scholar Chapter ) passed out scholarship applications to those seniors wishing to apply for a scholarship. There are 43 graduating seniors this year. The application must be filled out and returned on or before March 25, 1998, Applications Night.

The application must be returned to the Foundation or Steve Stumpff at the High School building on or before the deadline of March 25, 1998. The deadline date is "Application Night" . Anyone who would like a CPA from Des Moines to look at their financial information must attend the meeting at the High School on March 25 between the hours of 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.. If you are unable to attend, that evening, your financial information can be reviewed by J.C. Miller. You can contact J.C. at Manatt’s, Inc. (522-9206) or at home (522-9626) if you have questions on making an appointment. However please make arrangements for the review prior to March 25, 1997.

The Award Committee, chaired by Dorthea Hicks, will meet soon after Applications Night to score the scholarship applications. If anyone is interested in assisting with the scoring of the applications, please contact Dorthea (685-6482). Please remember, if you have any relation graduating in May, 1997, you can not serve on the Awards Committee this year.

Awards Night will be held on May 20, 1998 at the BGM High School Gym. This is your chance once again to show your support for the graduating seniors by attending Awards Night. YOU have made a difference with your contributions and support so please come and attend Awards Night and be a part of the ceremony.
