CSF OF BGM RECEIVES MEMORIAL MONEY IN MEMORY OF DEAN CARPENTER

 

 

The Citizens Scholarship Foundation of BGM a (Dollars for Scholars Chapter) received $400.00 in memory of Dean Carpenter who was a graduate from the Class of 1934.

Dean was born in Malcom, Iowa and was the son of Forrest D. and Pearl Roudabush Carpenter. He graduated from the Malcom High School in 1934 and moved to Coralville where he married his wife Verna Cordes. Dean was a cousin of Bob Roudabush.

Dean and Verna had four children. Two daughters, Ruth Ann Carpenter and Deana Paulette Ferras both from San Francisco, and two sons, Kevin Cordes Carpenter of San Francisco and Theodore Fred Carpenter and wife Kay Marie of Coralville.

The Foundation would like to thank Verna for the contribution in Dean’s memory.
