They are: Curtis Manatt, Elmer Anderson, Bob McLain, Roger Gerard, Dean Roth, Duane & Vickie McDonald, Pam Benishek, Candace Griffith, Diane Kilmer, Deb White, Greg & Nancy Ollinger, B.K. Walker, Becky Edelen, Ginny Olson, Don Woodard, Frank Heinen, John Beaderstadt, Lex Alig, Kevin Nikolish, Angie Hawkins, Laurie Kasal and Sue Blankenship.

Some comments that these people have made are: "This is a very easy way to contribute and I never see it going out. $1.00 or $2.00 a week and you never miss it. It just so easy to do. It’s a great cause and I"m glad to have the opportunity to help."

The Foundation wishes to thank all payroll deduction contributors and everyone else as well. The Foundation has been able to make a difference for our students because of everyones support. There are many more students to come so the Foundations work is never done and only thru growth can the Foundation continue to be that help.

Upcoming dates you need to mark your calendar for: March 25 is Applications Night. All applications need to be returned, as this is the deadline. May 20, 1998 will be Awards Night. This will be your opportunity to come and show your appreciation and support for our seniors.

Your contributions do make a difference. Through your help our seniors going on to higher education will receive a scholarship to help them. These scholarships are just one way we can show our students that we do care and want them to be the best they can be. Another way you can show our students that you care is by attending Awards Night.

Anyone wishing to make a contribution to the Foundation please contact Dorothea Hicks, Foundations Awards Chairperson and Board of Trustee representative for the Alumni Association of Guernsey, or any other Board member. You can also write to Box 469, Brooklyn, Iowa 52211.

Saying for the week is: Unless you try to do something beyond what you have already mastered, you will never grow.
