WEDNESDAY NIGHT IS AWARDS NIGHT

Awards Night is Wednesday May 20, 1998. Have you made plans to be there? There will be a special guest at Awards Night, Mary Adams Forsberg, Vice President of Dollars for Scholars, CSFA. While you are there take a look at the CSF of BGM's plaques.

The CSF of BGM plaques at the High School are only a symbol of the appreciation and recognition for the individuals, business's, and clubs that have contributed to the Foundation.

The plaques are displayed on the wall close to the south entrance to the gym at the BGM High School. When you come to Awards Night to show your appreciation for these graduating seniors you can take a look at the plaques.

The contributors plaque displays the name of a business, club or an individual who has contributed to the CSF of BGM in different levels. Those levels are: $500.00 to $1,000.00, $1,000.00 to $5,000.00, $5,000.00 to $25,000.00 and over $25,000.00. The plaque will be changed to reflect contributions received as of December 31 of each year. Any additional contributions $500.00 or more will be added after the end of the year. Also any of those reaching a new level will be moved up.

A special thank you to everyone who has contributed to the Foundation. Your gift is making a difference in the future of our graduates. Over the past 9 years, 292 out of 420 graduating seniors have applied for a scholarship from the Foundation. This figures out to be 69.5% of the graduating seniors. Everyone that applied for a scholarship within the proper time period, received one.

Through your contributions and help there is hope for each of our students. Your help and your contributions have made a difference.

Anyone wishing to make a contribution to the Foundation please contact Marie Roudabush, Board of Trustee representative for the City of Brooklyn, or any other Board member. You can also write to Box 469, Brooklyn, Iowa 52211.
