MEMORIAL ESTABLISHED FOR RENE AND ELNA SEYE
The Citizens Scholarship Foundation of BGM ( a Dollars for Scholar Chapter) received a $1,000.00 contribution to establish a memorial for Rene and Elna Seye. A scholarship will be awarded this year in memory of Rene and Elna Seye. The family will be working towards a permanent scholarship level.
Rene and Elna Seye moved to Guernsey in the early 50's and had two girls, Bev (King) and Bonnie (Ritchie). Elna was a teacher and taught in Guernsey and then when combined with BGM she taught at BGM and retired in 1970. Rene, who had to work to make a living and was unable to go to school, was always pushing his children and grandchildren to get their education. He realized the importance of education.
The Foundation wants to thank the family of Rene and Elna Seye for the contribution. This contribution will always be a part of the Foundation and will help to encourage all our graduates to continue their education.
Awards Night is coming soon May 20, 1998 at the BGM High School Gym. This is your chance to show your support for the graduating seniors by attending. You have made a difference with your contributions and support so please come and enjoy the ceremony. This year there will be a special quest at Awards Night, Mary Adams Forsberg, Vice President of Dollars for Scholars, CSFA.

Saying for the week is: What really matters is what happens in us, not to us.
