CSF ANNUAL MEETING

The Citizens’ Scholarship Foundation of BGM will be having their yearly organization meeting on Tuesday, September 22, 1998, 7:00 p.m. at Manatt’s office building.

At this meeting they will have their annual election of officers with last years officers being; President - J. C. Miller, Vice-President - Lyle Oswood, Secretary - Steve Stumpff, and Treasurer - Jan Read. An appointment of the chairpersons along with a report from each chairperson will be given. Some of the committee’s that are the responsibility of a chairperson include: Awards Committee, Publicity Committee, Data Base Committee, Scholarship Presenter Committee, 2^nd Year Scholarship Committee, 2^nd Chance Committee, Investment Committee, Mini-Grant Committee, and the Award Program Committee.

Other items on the agenda include, the treasurer’s annual report for 1997-1998 year will be given by treasurer Jan Read, an investment committee update and appointment of a new member to be appointed to the committee. CD’s that were purchased on 7-1-98 will be approved. These CD’s are $20,000 with First Federal of Grinnell and $58,000 with Poweshiek Co Savings Bank. The 1998-1999 schedule of events are being planned for discussion along with the 1998-1999 budget being set.

The CSF of BGM would like to mention that this meeting is open to the public and anyone wishing to come is welcome.
