CSF OF BGM FINANCIAL AID MEETING PLANNED

The Citizens Scholarship Foundation of BGM (a Dollars for Scholars Chapter) and the BGM Schools have scheduled a financial aid information night for Wednesday January 27, 1999 7:00 P.M. at the BGM High School cafeteria.

There will be two important guest speakers present that evening. One is Mr. Ron Erickson with College Funding Associates of Des Moines, Iowa, a private consulting company. The second is Ms. Chris Ditter with the newly formed College Planning Center, a nonprofit subsidiary of the Iowa Student Loan Liquidity Corp.

You will find out their approach to such questions as: How to correctly apply for grants, scholarships, and loans; which colleges offer the best financial deal; how to handle paperwork and deadlines; how to approach colleges directly for money; and how to avoid heavy educational debt. Many other items will be discussed.

This meeting should be of interest to all college bound students and their parents. The CSF of BGM would also like to extend an invitation to all parents with students in other grade levels to attend to get an idea for the future. It’s never to early to start planning for your childs college education.

THIS IS A VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATIONAL MEETING THAT ALL PARENTS SHOULD ATTEND.
